Shiitake Mushroom Extract is one of the best known medicinal mushrooms. Shiitake mushrooms (Lentinus edodes) have been used in Japan and China for thousands of years. It is known both as a food and as a herbal fungus.
Shiitake polysaccharide is an effective active ingredient extracted from the roe of high-quality shiitake mushrooms and is the main active ingredient of shiitake mushrooms, which is a kind of host defence potentiator (HDP). Clinical and pharmacological studies have shown that shiitake polysaccharides have the effects of antiviral, antitumor, regulating immune function and stimulating interferon formation [1].
Shiitake polysaccharide is an active ingredient extracted from the fruiting bodies of high-quality shiitake mushrooms, and the active ingredient in shiitake polysaccharide is a branched β-(1-3)-D-glucan with a β-(1-3)-linked backbone, which is composed of the β-(1-3)-linked β-(1-3)-glucan. -3)-linked glucose groups, along the main chain randomly distributed by β-(1-6)-linked glucose groups, a comb-like structure.
