Product Description

Yam extract is the dried tuber of Dioscorea oppositae thunb., a perennial trailing herb of the Dioscoreaceae family. It can be harvested from early October to April of the following year. The tubers are dug, the soil and fibrous roots are removed, the reed heads are cut off, washed, soaked in water for 2 to 3 hours, taken out, scraped off with a bamboo knife, and sun-dried.
